Have you heard of Social Fabric?
I want to tell you all about this fabulous company that I work with and I know that you will appreciate and love them as much as I do!
Last year, I was emailing with another blogger and trying to decide if I wanted to even continue blogging. I wasn’t seeing a lot of growth and I was putting more time into it than I really should have been. I needed to reevaluate what was working for me and what wasn’t, I was at that “make it or break it point” in my journey.
Two things happened during the time that I was making my decision, one I actually came across someone in real life using one of MY ideas! This made me realize that people where benefiting from me and my posts. The other thing that happened was that I stumbled across Collective Bias and the Social Fabric community. I found ways to use my talents to create posts with content for companies and make some money. This is what I wanted to do and it made me excited to blog again.
Within two weeks of joining, I had my first campaign. I was surprised by the Campaign Leader and the confidence that she seemed to have in me. It made me feel inspired to do my best work. If these people who didn’t know me were willing to give me a shot and thought that I could give them what they were looking for, maybe I did better work than I thought? This is why I love Social Fabric, they make me feel important. Why would you not want to work with a company like this?
Over the last year, I have worked on more than 20 campaigns. Each one different and challenging in it’s own way. I have continued to improve in many ways while I worked on these. I have gotten better at photography, writing posts, SEO and Social Media. The benefits that I have gotten from Social Fabric are far more than they have gotten from me.
Social Fabric has a conference in May called SoFabCon. They are providing 12 people with sponsorships to the conference and I would love to be one of those. I have many reasons for wanting to attend the conference:
-
I want to meet the people I work with
-
I want to learn more and better myself
-
I want to attend my first conference EVER
Being at a conference around people that make me feel important and value my work as a blogger would be amazing. There are so many campaign leaders that have helped me down this path and I would love to meet and thank them in person. Each one of them has played a part in making my blog better either by an encouraging word or their constructive critiques they have provided. I am thankful for them all.
I have been wanting to attend a conference for a while now. I have heard so many motivated bloggers after conferences and it is inspiring to hear their stories and feel their motivation through their work. I know that I would leave with more confidence and direction for myself and my blog. Learning new skills that I can use on future Social Fabric campaigns or just my daily posts. You, the reader, would then get better posts to read and use ideas from.
Here is a little Slide Show that I put together on why I #LoveSoFab! Enjoy!
