It’s no secret that I love Bigelow Tea, the Vanilla Chai is my absolute favorite. During the summer months I love making sun tea though, because it is such a refreshing and delicious drink.
Over the long 4th of July weekend of celebration, I decided to make a new Sun Tea recipe using some of the Bigelow Herb Tea. I love Lemon and I love Tea so I made a Lemon and Mint Sun Tea blend. It turned out to be amazing! Be sure to check out my recipe at the bottom of this post!
We shopped at our local Walmart and found a huge variety of Bigelow Tea options. Be sure to check out my entire shopping trip for more details.
Usually during the 4th of July celebrations we have lots of grilled food, salads, desserts and drinks. We were so busy this year that I only had time to make us a fun little breakfast of Lemon Mint Sun Tea and Lemonberry Cake. They were both delicious, but I love all things lemon!
By adding some cute little 4th of July tags that I made with my Silhouette and then using our 4th of July napkins, I made a simple breakfast into a special occasion.
How to Make Lemon Mint Sun Tea
Ingredients:
- 2 Mint Medley Herb Tea Bags
- 2 Orange and Spice Herb Tea Bags
- 2 Constant Comment Tea Bags
- Water
-
1 Fresh Lemon
Instructions:
- Pour the water into a large gallon-size jug.
- Add the Tea Bags so that the strings hang out of the jug.
- Put the cut lemons.
- Put the lid on the jug and let it sit in the sun for about 3 to 5 hours; longer if you like. When the sun tea is ready, remove the bags of tea and lemon.
- Serve over ice and garnish with the remaining lemon and mint.
